The mental health awareness week begins every year on the second Monday in May - in 2019 from May 13-19.
The world is increasingly open to understanding them with mental health problems, it is not surprising that the Week of Mental Health Awareness is now a better tool in calendars around England and beyond. It is organized by the Mental Health Foundation, and focuses on major problems every year.
In 2018, Week of Mental Health Awareness focused on stress. The event held at the Radcliffe Center was delivered by Sinclair and Selina Sasse "Research has shown that 16 million people experience mental health problems every year," explained MHF, "and stress is a key factor in this." As part of an effort to further open dialogue about mental health, the foundation organized such a "Curry and Chaat" initiative - where people gather with friends and enjoy their company over curry, while raising money for good causes.
